- 1 Cup or Quinoa
- 2 Cups of filter water
Method
- Before cooking it, I wash it very well with a strainer until the water became clean (3 times approx.), most of the Quinoa that we found on stores are saponin free but just in case I wash it well.
- In a medium cooking pot pour 2 cups of filter water in medium temperature uncovered, wait until boiling, when it starts boiling lower the temperature, put a cloth between the pot and the pot lid and keep cooking it for 15 minutes. After the 15 minutes cooking, graze with a fork. Incorporate the Quinoa on a glass container and leave it cooling before putting it on the fridge.e plastic or glass container, I personally changed all my plastic containers for glass.
- 1 cup of raw quinoa turns into 3 cups of cooked quinoa, red and black quinoa are cooked the same way.
- The cloth between the lid and pot is used to get a better grainy and to cook it faster.
